Optimized Throughput
Optimized throughput means that your laboratory can complete three runs in a 9 hour shift; completing 50% more runs than many 30 slide stainers. Combined with the higher 50 slide capacity, intelliPATH FLX delivers up to 150 slides in a 9 hour shift, compared with 60 slides for a 30 slide instrument. Greater capacity means less IHC instruments in your laboratory.
A reduced number of IHC instruments means reduced:
- Space taken up in the laboratory by instrumentation
- Capital expense for instrumentation
- Field service contract costs by 2.5 fold or more
- Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance
- Inventory costs for reagents - No need for instrument specific reagents
- Number and expense for QC slides and subsequent reporting

- Validation of antibodies on different instruments
With this increased flexibility and capacity you are able to run multiple batches on the same instrument, thereby spending less time running QC and validation, or maintaining a duplicate system (which would also require more bench space).
